On Girl’s Day schoolgirls can gain insight into professional fields that they would only rarely consider in the process of career orientation.
In courses such as engineering or computer science, women are clearly underrepresented. In doing so, they do not make full use of their career opportunities. However, the companies are increasingly lacking qualified young people, especially in technical and technology-related areas.
